Note: Note: Vehicular access to trailheads at Bottchers Gap (via Palo Colorado Road) has been closed since 2016.  Vehicular access to the Little Sur trailhead on Old Coast Road varies year to year and season to season. The eastern trailhead is at Pico Blanco Boy Scout Camp. The western trailhead is accessed via Old Coast Road. This trail ascends over Launtz Ridge to the South Fork Little Sur River and should not be confused with Jackson Camp Trail, which is confined to the North Fork Little Sur.

• Parking: Vehicle access to the trailhead near Bottchers Gap Campground is CLOSED due to closure of Palo Colorado Road. Vehicle access to the trailhead on Old Coast Road changes throughout the year. See this link for Monterey County Road closures.
