I believe the "Hoist" is the name of the area at the bottom of the Long-Ridge rd about 4 miles up Palo Colorado canyon road, where the mailboxes are right?

Last I went up the long ridge rd it was not gated at the bottom. The only gate I saw was about 2/3 of the way up. The Palo colorado rd is gated just past the hoist and possible in other places since i was there in January.

Have you or do you know of anyone who has traveled on the Hoist right before the current work being carried out; into the East Cul de Sac, past the mail boxes. Oh and how to get to it?
