No arrests! Is it a cycle to make sure people have jobs from year to year. Will there ever be arrests? Could it be a local land owner who has daily access?
A marijuana grow near the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel Valley was eradicated Friday, the Sheriff's Office said today.
Agents with the Monterey County Marijuana Eradication Team destroyed about 16,000 plants discovered growing in the forest off Robinson Canyon and Carmel Valley roads, authorities said.
Members of the state Department of Justice and the U.S. Forest Service also participated in the operation.
No arrests have been made and authorities say they are continuing to investigate.
