There is an old steep dozer trail on left as you ascend. Drop to creek when you see it. It is strange the creek appears dry. You follow it a ways south and it is flowing. I am not good at off trail. Started down a well defined gully and then found some rough trails. The water is pretty close to main trail, but some rough steep spots to get to it.
