FYI most of the Miller Canyon Trail is impassable! I was there in November and the trail quickly disappears. I'd recommend avoiding that area for a thru hike.

Hi Alan, I'd recommend visiting the Arroyo Seco area. There's a campground for car camping and backpacking on the Santa Lucia Trail or to the Arroyo Seco Adobe.
