BTW - there is one other "hunt" Nov 8-30 - but only in the Ventana Wilderness itself - and that only assumes it get's "opened". There are only 25 people who "Won the Department of Fish & Game drawing" for this hunt.

Until the forest service opens up the forest, I wouldn't expect any picts. Posting pictures taken anywhere in the monterey ranger district is probably illegal, since nobody is supposed to "officially" be back there. i.e. it's evidence you "broke the rule".
