Fire Restrictions in effect August 1, 2023

Fire restrictions banning campfires and smoking at backcountry camps in Los Padres National Forest begin August 1, 2023 . This includes the Ventana and Silver Peak Wilderness areas. The Stone Ridge Trail is in a designated Wilderness Area (the Ventana Wilderness) and is therefore closed to mountain bikes.
