I would not recommend that as there are some very rocky sections near the summit. I was up there two weeks ago the road had not seen the County Grader yet this year.

General Condition: Clear (no obstacles and tread well defined)

There is a section right before Bad Gulch where the trail is starting to collapse, so please be extra careful.

General Condition: Clear (no obstacles and tread well defined)

The trail is clear from the Old Coast Road to the River Crossing. A trail crew cleared this section of the trail on 2/11/12. There are no trees on the trail thanks to the help of our volunteers.
