Date Hiked: December 18, 2022 General Condition: Passable (some brush and/or deadfalls, tread evident) The summit spur had some brushy moments, but honestly was probably a tad bit clearer than lower down on the mountain. Then for the last mile or so, we had 6-8 inches of snow and were doing small p...

We ran this from the Santa Lucia Memorial Park Campground up to the first saddle/trail intersection. Kind of brushy the entire time, but rarely got to the level of bushwhacking. S...

Similar to the Kirk Creek Trail, just getting brushier throughout the year. Still manageable for sure, and still gorgeous.

Very manageable, and some fallen trees have been cleared, but the poison oak has definitely been growing. Still one of the most beautifu...

Re: Big Sur Trail
Date Hiked: February 5, 2022 General Condition: Clear (no obstacles and tread well defined) Went the entire length of the trail. Not quite as "Wilderness Freeway" as the Pine Ridge Trail, but pretty close. Tread had a little more grass in spots, and some very slightly brushy sections, but...
