Similar to the Kirk Creek Trail, just getting brushier throughout the year. Still manageable for sure, and still gorgeous.

Re: Kirk Creek Trail (Highway One to Vicente Flat Camp)

Date Hiked: May 22, 2022 General Condition: Clear (no obstacles and tread well defined) Starting to get pretty brushy, especially after the turn into Hare Canyon. Very manageable, and some fallen trees have been cleared, but the poison oak has definitely been growing. Still one of the most beautifu...

Re: Big Sur Trail

Date Hiked: February 5, 2022 General Condition: Clear (no obstacles and tread well defined) Went the entire length of the trail. Not quite as "Wilderness Freeway" as the Pine Ridge Trail, but pretty close. Tread had a little more grass in spots, and some very slightly brushy sections, but...

Re: Pine Ridge Trail

Date Hiked: February 5, 2022 General Condition: Wilderness Freeway (Heavily used and well maintained) Very well maintained, took it all the way to the Big Sur Trail Intersection. I would say more, but there's not much else to add except that the river crossings are easy but require ankle-knee deep ...

Pretty much a dirt road for the first mile, then just good singletrack for the next 3 (with one or two 100 meter sections of slight brush). The last ~0.5 miles to Post Sum...
