Called LPNF Monterey District about accessing Pine Valley/Pine Ridge trail with a group of boy scouts driving up that road. Answer was yes and no. Unless you are OK trespassing on GraniteRock RD, I would advise against following the Carmel River trail past GraniteRock crossing. I attempted that several weeks ago and we eventually had to bail after loosing the trail several times.
