Specific:
What a beautiful and cool place to be in the heat of summer. Abundant water for the entire trail as it paralells Mill Creek. The trail has probably been used by day hikers who have traveled no more than a mile. This first mile (ish) is clear and the trail obvious. Thereafter there are washed out areas a couple of good dead falls and some pleasant creek crossings. These three things add up to some frustration along the way, as you might loose the trail here and there. Lion Creek will veer to the left and you'll need to hop that. Generally the Mill Creek Trail is on the North side of Mill Creek as it winds through some lush well canopied clover and fern.
