VWA Receives Forest Service Award
for Willow Creek Restoration Project
At a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act held at the Brazil Ranch Environmental Center on October 30, 2004, the Forest Service honored the VWA's Willow Creek Restoration Project with the award of a handsome wood plaque. The award was presented by Gene Blankenbaker, Deputy Supervisor of the Los Padres National Forest, and reads:
