Hi Jeff,
When I was out at Cone Peak & the Indians last month, I saw tons of beautiful late season wildflowers: dwarf checkermallow, scarlet bugler, splendid mariposa lily, Douglas's spineflower, some Clarkias, and lots of sticky monkeyflowers. Many of the flowers I photographed were full of pollinators!

You can check out some recent observations of flowers and pollinators on our iNaturalist page. If you scroll down below the map, you can browse through "Recent Observations".https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/northern-santa-lucia-range-inventory

We also did a Facebook post on pollinators last week! https://www.facebook.com/ventanawild/posts/1529777477043071

wildflowers/pollenators

I just got back from a 3 day hike in Marin Headlands. Noriced a large lack of wildflowers, reds, yellows, etc. Is Big Sur doing okay with wildflowers. Or perhaps the Early Spring was an abundance of flowers. If any body knows first hand I'd be glad to hear from ya.
