Coming down from Andeson Peak

I have always wanted to try this route, under the wires coming down from Anderson Peak. Recently while doing the coast ridge I was just north of a fire. I thought the safest, fastest way off the ridge was this route. I was sorely mistaken. In parts it was wonderfully maintained. In others, it was as if the hand of God had pushed down 15 foot high brush for 50 yards at a time. Making the tail disappear completely in steep terrain. By the end of the trip to HW1 the seat of my jeans had completely been rubbed off. When I got to HW1 I had no seat to my pants! I had road rash on my behind from having to slide down slope of 75% gradient. My arms were cut up, my chins cut up, poison oak all over. It seemed like a good idea, but really its not.
