Cell phone experiences on this thread are a treasure trove of information for emergency, hookup conveniences and more important is kind of a safety net when needed. Honestly, I believe this should be a permanent reference point “STICKY” for emergency communication for hikers, and for general Big Sur residence that help enhance the ease and pleasure of visiting such a magnificent piece of nature.
