I hiked from Indians to Cooks Spring yesterday (3/18). Definately some recently fallen trees, especially tan oaks. However, people have been working on some of the downfalls. Bring a sharp folding saw and plan on slower going. The turn off for the spring is right by the large sugar pine that has been recently sawn.
