Seems hot springs are sacred, but not backroad camping locations. How many visits did this site get last year? There is plenty of published information out there for interested. The use of the forest by visitors does not seem to be going down. Perhaps this forum should act less like a travel consultant and more like a promotor of preservation, enhancement, and restoration.
