Most such sites are hunter-occupied when seasons are open (pigeon currently), sometimes become homeless encampments when not. There are a number of these about a mile or so beyond the Pine Ridge trailhead along Tassajara Rd, for instance.
If you're going, you'll want to take a vehicle you don't mind "pinstriping", the scrub oak overgrows these places rapidly.
