Several years I was hiking on the Sespe Creek trail near Ojai. I came across a massive slide that had wiped out about 200' of trail about a month earlier. The interesting thing was that the slide was still active. Every few seconds, some rocks (up to about a foot in diameter) would come rolling down the slide into Sespe Creek. There was also mud and gravel slowly moving down in one area. The creek was muddy for a few hundred feet downstream
