I know the Big Sur area gets a lot of rain, up to 60" I have heard from some old timers (sober). So I guess landslides are quite common? I have seen a lot this year on the various trails. I used to love to hike in rain storms, but of late I have thought twice about it because of the slide factor. I guess slides are an ongoing issue in the VW because of such high rain totals and nothing out of place? Comments?
